I have been thinking about " THE DOOR"

In Revelations 3: 20 Jesus says “here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me”. Many times we use this verse when we are trying to win someone to be a Christian, I believe that this verse is more for Christians than for non- believers. Jesus keeps on knocking at the door of our lives seeking fellowship and friendship. Most of the people just open the door of their lives to let him in for Him to be their Savior and after that they don’t seek any friendship and fellowship with God. Christianity is more than just about going to heaven and escaping hell but is about people becoming friends with God. Jesus wants to come into the kitchen of your life and eat with you, but also to the living room of your life and have fellowship with you. He desire also to come into the bedroom of your life for spiritual intimacy with you, he desire that you will know him intimately. Many people don’t want to open completely to God because
No 1. They don’t want to be vulnerable fearing that they will look weak. God knows everything about you there is nothing that you can hide from Him; He knows your weakness so go ahead and open up to him.
No 2. Other people are afraid to loose control of their lives to Him; they are comfortable when they are in control of their welfare. It is true though that when he comes into your life he will require you to surrender to His Lordship; and He becomes the Master of your house. When Jesus comes into your live he comes to
1. Save you from sin
2. Clean your life from sin. God want us to live holy lives
3. Have an intimate love relationship with you
4. Give you the heart and character of God. Remember that the heart of God long and cry out for the lost.

I urge you to go ahead and open the doors of different rooms in your life and allow the King of kings to build a palace in your life, and then you will be inviting the heavenly kingdom and have a living and growing intimacy with King of kings.
